Well, what a year 2015 was. We’re still reliving moments almost a year and a half later. 2015 saw our wedding followed by one of the most magical trips around the west coast of the USA. Truly amazing.
It’s been an interesting exercise compiling this set as it became apparent to me, quite quickly, how my style and skill set has developed over the last few years, in particular the differences between 2015/16. My original plan was to document all years but some are just, well, terrible, so I thought I’d start with 2015 and go from there. Unfortunately though, I hadn’t realised how little I’d been out the the camera in 2015, so the majority of these are coming from our trip around California. Although I am proud of this set, I’m even more proud of how my 2016 has gone so far, and it’s far from over! Looking forward to sharing those with you early in 2017…
Anyway, as always, I hope you like!

Amazing pictures I especially like the one of the sky . I could gaze at that forever and get lost in the stars . Excellent work I look forward to the next images X
Aw thanks a lot Cuz. Really looking forward to sharing them with you. Mwah xxx
Excellent dude
Thanks bro!
Excellent pics Rob, milky way my fave, need to try and get a shot like that, how much post processing did that take?
Regards trevor
Thanks very much, Trevor. Appreciate the comment.
To be honest, the image required much more pp than normal, as it was/is riddled with noise. My camera at the time really wasn’t up to the job.
I did manage to recover a lot of the detail, however, by stacking 5 or 6 images in Photoshop. Then I just brought in a lot of the detail with a contrast/clarity boost.
Next time out, I know exactly what I need to do and I’m sure there will be very little post processing involved.
Thanks again for the kind comment!

So impressed with your city scapes. Super dramatic and colourful! Love them! Really love the silhouette of Mrs E. Fab pose and composition. Love how the tree branch bends towards her head. OKay Milky Way image is fab and how you got the detail is beyond me but what impresses me most about it is how both the milky way, the tree and the bush bottom right all lean the same way! ??? How even??? It’s like the earth is spinning on it’s axis. Oh wait! Guy on stairs… LOVE all the lines! I had to show this one to Emmie today, super clever use of light and geometry. Visbon all the way!
The light and shadows in the last one is also really clever.
